Shane furuTa

Shane Furuta has been a firefighter with the Federal Fire Department Hawaii since 1998.  Shane has spent the majority of his career assigned to Pearl Harbor and has been an Engine Co. Lieutenant for 15 years.  He has been an Engine Co. Operations instructor at several fire conferences around the US and is a founding member of the 50thState F.O.O.L.S., a 501c3 nonprofit dedicated to the professional development of firefighters in the state of Hawaii.  Shane enjoys fishing, diving, and spending time with his Ohana (wife Lynn and daughters Quincie, Kaitlyn, Chloe, & Rielle)
