BILL STOCKLEY

Bill has been in the fire service since 1992 and is currently serving as a Battalion Chief in the Phoenix area.  Bill grew up in Arizona and joined the US Navy right after high school, where he served 4 years.  Once he left active duty, Bill became a Firefighter in Washington state, where he served until 2001, when he and his family moved back to Arizona, where he has proudly served his community as a Firefighter/Paramedic, Engineer, Captain, SWAT Medic, Division Chief, Assistant Chief, and now as a Shift Commander. Bill is dedicated to the safety and well-being of his firefighters and is an advocate of advancements in the fire service through technology, training, and leadership while at the same time not forgetting the past.  Bill enjoys outdoor sports and activities, off-roading in his UTV and going glamping with his wife, Tammie.
