GRANT WRITER
Adam Hursh has more than 24 years of experience in the fire service and approximately 15 years of experience in grant writing and public safety consulting. He currently serves as Deputy Fire Chief of the Gilt Edge Volunteer Fire Department and as a full-time Lieutenant with the Piperton Fire Department, both located in southwest Tennessee. His career spans volunteer and career service, with a focus on operations, leadership, and organizational planning.
Mr. Hursh holds a Master of Public Administration from Columbia Southern University and is designated as a Chief Fire Officer through the Center for Public Safety Excellence. He is a graduate of the FEMA Basic Emergency Management Academy and holds certifications as a Fire Officer IV and Fire Inspector. His combined field experience and grant expertise support fire and public safety agencies in improving readiness, staffing, training, and long-term sustainability.
