In July of 1992, Craig Shur founded Shur-Sales. After working for Safety Equipment Company of Florida for 6½ years as a distributor salesman and sales manager, he saw a need. This need was for a Manufacturer Representative Firm that truly brought business to the distributor and the manufacturer by ethically, relentlessly and professionally presenting products to the end-user. The business was started in The Rocky Mountain states due to the void that manufacturers felt was in this area. We began with a focus on The Industrial Safety Marketplace, selling Safety Products.
Five years later, we started our Fire-Fighting Equipment Division by adding Ken Bush, our Vice President. With the same core values and extreme work ethic, our second division doubled the size of the business. This division broke the mold of traditional manufacturer representative firms. In this territory, these manufacturers chose Shur-Sales as the most cost-effective and efficient way to grow business.
Shur-Sales now has 4 outside salespeople and 3 inside salespeople. We have an extreme commitment to improve the way we do business on a daily basis. We will continue to get better!
